Browns Playoff Chances: Tracking the Browns Playoff Picture

Fact Checked by Jeremy Botter

If the Browns' playoff chances are going to improve from Ohio sportsbooks, Cleveland has a significant amount of work to do in the offseason. Cleveland revamped their roster by adding new talent in free agency and the draft.

The Browns' starting quarterback has yet to be named. It is highly unlikely that QB Deshaun Watson will play in 2025. But the Browns' quarterback room is full after Cleveland signed Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett in free agency and drafted Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel in the 2025 draft.

Are the Browns in the Playoffs?

Denzel Ward celebrates broken up

The Browns are looking to make the playoffs this season after failing to do so in 2024. Before the start of the season, based on +800 odds from DraftKings, Cleveland has an 11.1% chance of making the 2025 playoffs.

Can the Browns Make the Playoffs?

Yes. The Browns can technically make the playoffs at this point. But their revamped roster will need to put in a lot of work this offseason. Cleveland signed key players in free agency and drafted new talent to bolster their roster. With a new quarterback leading the offense (yet to be named) and Myles Garrett returning to head the defense, the Browns have the potential to make the postseason.
